How To Make A Lanyard With Ribbon

Howdy ribbon lovers!! Michele here and I was so excited to have been able to go to CHA in January!!

For those who don’t know, that is the Craft & Hobby Association and January is the ‘big show’.  I decided that this year I would use a superb May Arts ribbon and make my very own lanyard to sport at the show.

Make Your Own Lanyard With Ribbon

Here is what you will need.

Ribbon Used:

  • Other Supplies used:
  • Sewing machine
  • Metal lanyard clip

I put my ribbon around my neck to determine the length…I am not much of a measurer.

Then I took one end and fed it through the clip and folded over.

I did the same with the other end and pined in place.

On my sewing machine I just ran a straight stitch across to sew in place.

This bright reversible ribbon was perfect to hang my CHA pass from.

And I will be able to use it over and over again!!
