What beautiful ribbon. Thanks for the chance to win it.
Nothing special planned for today. More of a day of rest as yesterday was our annual Relay for Life that I am very involved is as a volunteer and walker. I coordinate the children’s activities so spent a good part of the 11 hours that I was there supervising children. My kids will be popping by during the day but that is about it.

we’re just having some peace and quiet here. I live with my mom, and my kids are across the country. The weather is supposed to be nice, so we plan on cleaning our enclosed patio so we can redecorate it and be able to enjoy it more.

Well, hoping I can do a little scrapping this morning for NSD, but then it’s off to soccer and a school festival – this time of year is so busy for my kids! Sunday we have plans to go to a swank Mother’s Day brunch right after church. I plan to stuff myself silly! Maybe I should plan to go for a jog this morning just to work of the anticipated weight gain? 😉
Thanks for the chance to win! All the ribbon is amazing, esp. the rose one! Happy NSD and Mom’s Day to everyone!

My Mother’s Day will be spent just like every other day of the year – with phone calls from my children. The actual celebratory plans will be a day late when I go out to dinner with my daughter (son lives out of state.) My Scrapbook Day will be spent making cards and in the evening having a birthday dinner at our home for my son-in-law. Busy. Busy. Busy!

My latest project is actually for my mom on Mother’s Day. My grandmother passed away on February 1 of this year so Sunday will be a very difficult day for us. My dad’s mom passed away last July so it will be the first Mother’s Day without both of them. My mom and I usually try to outdo each other with our gifts on Mother’s Day but this year I think I’ve got her beat! I’m making a layout with pics of my grandmother with my daughter. I want to be able to celebrate her on Sundy even though she isn’t with us.

Well, since I’m divorced I take myself out along with my kids – the oldest started working but I don’t want for him to spend money on me – so my plans are the same as the last 10 years – we all go out to eat – the kids clean the house for me for about a week – they make me a nice card – they know I rather have something they did for me. Spending this day with my kids and bringing my Mom along is the best way to spend Mother’s Day – having them in my life is the best present any one can give me.
