Victoria Garden – Layouts

Day 1 of May Arts / Echo Park Paper Blog Week!

When I received the Echo Park Victoria Garden Collection I was instantly in love.  The colors are wonderful and the possibilities are endless.  I have a feeling that I will be using every single piece of paper.

For my first layout A Natural Beauty

I randomly cut out parts of the patterned paper and glued other patterned paper under the cut outs.  I then Put on my Picture.  I Used May Arts RG46 and pleated it under my picture then put DD10 over top.  I also used DD10 in 1 ½” to frame out my title.

See quick and easy, and I love it.

For my second Layout Grow with Love

I Punched out a bunch of 1” circles and then inked the edges of both the circles and my paper.  I layered them along the bottom of the page to get a scalloped feel.  I made a couple flowers from some left over circles to help frame my title.  Add your picture and title.  I used 331-22 for the bottom ribbon then put FR17 over the top.  I put a couple Suede Leaves XL16 under my flowers, I can’t tell you how many times I use these Leaves, I love them.

Both layouts are great but my favorite is the circle punches you used for a scalloped effice….they look super they way they are layed out.

Oh, I like the punched circles. Great way to use scraps and show off a bunch of pretty paper without overwhelming the photo.
