{tutorial} party placesetting

Day 5 of May Arts / Creative Imaginations Blog week!

{tutorial} party placesetting

As soon as I saw the round party papers by Creative Imaginations, I knew exactly what I wanted to share with you—a party placesetting!  Add some sweet May Arts ribbon for the perfect finishing touch!

Gather the following supplies:

  • Scissors
  • Double-stick Tape
  • Pop-up Adhesive Dots
  • Favor Box
  • Clear Plates
  • Utensils, Glasses, Napkins and Straws

Ready? Here we go…

1. Place the round paper on the table as the foundation of your placesetting. Use a clear plate to feature the beautiful paper.

2. Wrap a coordinating ribbon around a cute favor box and add a fun sticker as a tag.

3. Use stickers and die cuts to embellish plain straws and place in a glass.

4. Tie ribbon around utensils and wrap strips of paper and ribbon around napkins. Make sure the napkin wrap is loose enough for guests to easily slide off.

5. Personalize and print placecards then add die cuts with pop-up adhesive dots. Ta-Da! A perfect party placesetting!

We also created another placesetting in a different color palette to show you how easy it is to apply the same steps for a completely different party!

Piggy Bank Parties wanted to help you create a party setting so we are offering our Sweets Party Cards as a free download to you, our wonderful May Arts blog followers!
