The Perfect Day

Day 2 Of May Arts / Bella Blvd Blog Week!

The Perfect Day

Hello May Arts fans! I’m so excited today to be bringing you even more Bella Blvd and May Arts projects. Bella Blvd is honestly one of my favorite scrapbooking companies. I love their mix of colors, patterns and the two sided patterned paper ROCKS! They make it so easy for you to create a layout by having fabulous embellishments, flowers, stickers sheets and more for you to use. It can’t get any better than that.

Today I’ve done something that I do very often. I have created a scrapbook layout using Bella Blvd’s Summer collection. I’ve also used my scraps left over from the layout to create a super simple card. Here is my layout.

On this layout I started with a yellow card stock base and trimmed down some Bella Blvd. patterned paper. I created a wave effect with May Arts ribbon ER34 to place along the sides of my photos. I used all pieces cut from the Bits of Bella sheet. These are perfect for adding small phrases here and there and the strips are fun as well. I cut one of those strips out and placed it along the bottom of my page layered on top of a scalloped piece of patterned paper and the wave design paper. Here are a few detail close ups for you to see.

Here you can see the title I created by using one of those pieces paired with the Bella sticker sheet letters. You can also see how I layered my journaling and added my date with a date stamp. Lastly I stapled some May Arts ribbon SX66 to one of my photos. I finished the page off with a couple of Bella Blvd’s big flowers in coordinating colors.

Here is the quick card I created using my leftovers.

I started with a green cardstock base topped with white cardstock. I then used the coordinating side of the wave patterned paper for my color here. Two great patterns…how awesome is that! For my image I simply cut the palm tree from the Bits and pieces sheet and created a frame from May Arts ribbon SX28. I added a little bit of a scallop along the bottom and added 3D dots to raise this panel My sentiment is from Hero Arts and that’s it!

I hope you love Bella as much as I do.  Their products have totally gotten me in the mood for Spring and Summer! Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you soon.
