"When I was cleaning one year, some time after my Mom had died, I found an hold digital answering machine that I had many years ago, and sure enough there were about 30 old messages on it and most of them were my Mom, now deceased! And I had not heard the music of her voice in many Years and now I could hear it, it was like getting a hug for me. Was so nice to hear her voice again. Still have the machine, just can't throw it away now!!! Have found many things over the years but that is the strangest I believe!!

Love these colors they ooze spring, and mentally I so need spring!! I am on oxygen and so tired of the cold and snow, want to be outside and enjoying the birds and blooms!!! Bring it on!!

Thanks May Arts!!

When ever I have a ‘spring’ clean, I am always finding gorgeous papers or embellishments that were too special to use at the time I bought them, so put to one side and promptly forgotten about. I love finding those products when having a spring clean and having held on to them for so long, can’t wait to use them on my projects rather than just looking at them! 🙂

I am kind of a cleaning fanatic so spring cleaning is actually fun for me! The best thing that I found while clearing out my closets was a box full of my old toys from childhood. Mr. Potatoe Head anyone?!!
What I did NOT find was any gorgeous ribbon, so keeping my fingers crossed!

Our LS store is having a garage type sale, I am cleaning out my crafting things to sell. I have found that I have way…way…too much stuff and it feels great to get it cleaned out to make room for new goodies….maybe like your beautiful ribbon…..hint, hint!!

hahaha! I love spring cleaning my scrap studio because I ALMOST always find some really cute embellishments that I totally forgot I bought. It’s like a little reward while cleaning when I’d rather be crafting. Oh yeah…and I also love having a sparkling, clean scrap desk to get all junked up all over again.

The best thing I’ve found while spring cleaning is ROOM, lol!! Every time I do it, I get rid of a ton of things I don’t want/need anymore, and I always love the extra room left behind. 😉

Thanks for the chance to win!

Thanks for the chance to win an awesome prize.
The other day I found my second set of car keys. It had dropped into a boot at the bottom of the closet. Or my little granddaughter put them there. Not sure which :-).

since it’s autumn (fall) here in australia we have several months before spring cleaning but I usually do an autumn clean as well just not as thorough- I have found various items I bought prior to Christmas for my Grandchildren-they will now be Easter presents 🙂 and a finger craft knife from Fiskars that I bought ages ago and couldn’t find so I went and bought another one- now I have two but may give one for a gift

I was cleaning piles of papers and found my instructions with diagrams on how to fold paper for an explosion fold card. YEAH! I’m teaching that in a class this week and now I don’t have to re-write it.

My major “spring” cleaning came last fall when my husband was injured at work- I had to re-arrange almost all the furniture in the house to accommodate his walker. When vacuuming under where the dresser used to be, I found a diamond earring I had lost years ago!

I finally found my son’s baby book. Couldn’t find it when we unpacked from our last move 3 years ago and I’d pretty much given up hope. And last month I found it in a box random paperwork I was sorting. So excited! Love the ribbon colors!

It’s funny that this question came up because I am in the process of cleaning my studio and the best surprise I found in there was a box of adhesive which I thought I was out of…the worst a half eaten cookie wedged down in a paper bin…who does that? LOL!

I have a low shelf under my computer desk and when I pushed the vac hose in there I found a dried up orange peel. After pulling that off the end I then found a handmade ribbon flower I had made! I thought I made 6 but when done crafting only had 5 on my desk. That 6th one had been hiding out since just before Valentines day!
