Spider Tea Towel

Hi there!  Jen here- with a quick & easy way to add a little Halloween fun to your home!  Start with a fun tea towel – I get these at a local craft store – but you could easily make one with fabric of your choice!

I’ve added some of the beautiful BX28 – sheer spider web ribbon.  All of that black is flocking- LOVE it!  As I said, this is a quick project, so I eyeball the ribbon placement.

I straight stitched around the ribbon.

You could easily stop here, but I wanted to add a little more detail.  I pinned on the SX10 3/8” black grosgrain ribbon.

I did a quick zig zag stitch, and would’ve finished in record time if I hadn’t run out of bobbin thread….

Even with my oops, it was still a quick project!

Check out the May Arts catalog– there are all kinds of fun ribbon that would make lovely embellishments on easy projects like this one!!  J
