Remember This Christmas Album Journal
Hi! I am so excited to share this project with you today! I have seen so many wonderful December Daily type albums and things out there, and while I always enjoy seeing others, it has never been something that would work for me because I don’t really have things going on EVERY day in the month to document. I did, however, want to create an album that allowed me to document things about the holiday season this year in my own way. I chose some fabulous Echo Park papers, May Arts ribbons, and a few fabulous embellishments to create an album for just that!
- May Arts Twill in Natural
- May Arts Wrinkled Ribbon
- May Arts Burlap String
- May Arts Twisted Rope
- Echo Park Country Drive Collection (Yup! The Country Drive collection is GREAT for Christmas!)
- Gem Stones
- Binding Machine
- White Cardstock
Begin by cutting the chipboard and patterned paper pages to the desired size. Cut some white cardstock to a smaller size and cut out the Country Drive Journaling Cards. Use the binding machine to punch holes in all of these items so they can be bound.
Layer your papers as you want them to be in the book and then embellish with ribbon, string, buttons, and gem stones. You have the freedom to do what you want here!
Embellish the cover using the Echo Park papers, stickers, and journaling cards along with fabulous May Arts twisted rope!
Bind all of the pages, including covers according to your machine instructions. Tie lots of great May Arts ribbon, string, and rope along the binding.
Now you can fill your album with photos, notes, trinkets, and ephemera throughout the season! Nice and easy and SO super cute!!! I made mine 5×6 so it is fairly easy to carry with me, but also large enough to hold photos and other things. Here are the pages so you can see what they all look like:
Thank you so much and I hope you make your own fun little holiday album!!!
