    I have felt like a broom leaning against the wall when the family gets  together for holidays now that I am approaching 70  This week my daughter very enthusiastically responded "Yes" when I offered to make some old-time favorite cookies for our Christmas gathering.  Made me feel like I still have something special to add to the festivities!!

    What I loved best… hm… Vicki Boutin had a super cute Santa and she made his beard out of pompom trim… and fun silvery mustaches too.. I thought that was adorable. Also there was a great snowman hat and the red net ribbon around it was beautiful!! Forget who made it but the hat was fabulous.
