Making a Flower Girl Dress and Crown with Ribbon
Hi this is Jenifer here with you to share a fun project I have been working on for a friend of mine. She will be getting married at the end of this month and I was given the opportunity to make the beautiful flower girl dress. How cute is this 🙂 Of course no fancy formal dress is complete without some May Arts ribbon.
I used May Arts Solid Wrinkle Ribbon in Parrot Green. I also bound all of my seams and the hem in the 1 1/4″ silver silk that matched perfectly.
Here is a picture of the back with a beautiful perfect bow. As soon as the 2 year old tried on the dress she stated that she needed a crown. May Arts to the rescue! I made this simple little crown in just a few minutes.
I wrapped the silver wired beads in a circle 3 times and wove in the ends. Next, are the leaves and the 1/4″ silver silk. I tied the silk ribbon in a small bow in the back so the ends hang down slightly. I found some small wired paper roses that I painted silver and wove them into the crown. The outfit is now complete and everyone is delighted. I can’t wait to see the pictures on the big day.
Thank you so much for taking a look at my project today,

Wow. That is beautiful. So little girl is very special. It would take me weeks to get that off my daughter. :).
