‘Light it up Blue’ Blog Hop
As you may know, today is World Autism Awareness Day. Every year on this day, people and organizations all over the world 'light it up blue' to help raise awareness for this growing disorder. With 1 in 88 children being diagnosed with autism, it is now being called a national epidemic. If you would like to learn more about autism or how you can light it up blue, please go to the Autism Speaks website.
Now, I don't talk much about myself on this blog. Because, let's face it, it's a ribbon blog not a ribbon lady blog. 😉 But I would like to share that I am a very proud mother of an autistic boy. That is why every year I like to do a little something to light May Arts up blue. So, this year I reached out to The Ribbonistas to help me create a Light It Up Blue Blog Hop. Each participating Ribbonista was asked to create a project that was blue. It didn't necessarily have to be about Autism, as long as it was blue. And this is what we came up with. Please take the time to hop along today, as I am very thankful to these wonderful ladies for helping me out!
I also wanted to give all of you the chance to create a blue project of your own. So, I put together this prize pack:
