Here is my summer ribbon entry for the contest.  My girls helped me make these little patriotic flags for them to play around with.  I thought they also looked fun in a centerpiece”

I have in mind a framed paper butterfly project, shadow box style. It will definitely have ribbon on it! I’m thinking some of the scrumptious silk ribbon would be pretty. Love that stuff! It looks so elegant.

I’m hoping to get started on my Christmas Cards (think Christmas in July) and incorporating some ribbons. I’d also love to create some beautiful Ribbon Flowers and add them as embellishments to my cards.

I host a lot of swaps on my social network site for crafters and love to use my collection of May Arts ribbon. I’ll be making gift tags, cards, mini albums, ATC cards, collages, banners … Lots of projects!

I am hoping to get a head start on making some Christmas cards this summer. I love to use ribbon on my hand-stamped cards and tags!! I can’t pick just one favorite ribbon – I use twill, sheer, satin, silk, whatever seems to fit the card I’ve just made. 🙂

I plan to have much fun with scrapbooking and cardmaking this summer. Whenever I feel a ribbon is needed on my project, I will try to incorporate it. My favorite ribbon is satin ribbon, as it is both beautiful and easy to tie into both bows and knots =)

For summer I will be making a LOT of bd cards! There are a lot of summer bd’s in my family and my favorite ribbon is the M/A TWILL ribbon, its so fabulous and can be used for mens cards too because its not shiny or too fancy looking!
