Clean and Simple Halloween Cards

First Card:

Get the DCWV Betwitched card stock pad and score card stock in half.  Pick three patterned paper pieces from the DCWV Ghosts & Goblins pack and cut one inch by 4″ strips.  Die cut out purple card stock with PTI Fillable Frames die.  Cut 2″ of May Arts 1.5″ solid wrinkled ribbon (EA10) and fold over to make a ribbon tab, adhere to trimed edge of die cut.  Repeat with second ribbon tab and add staples.

Add SRM Sticker to die cut and any additional Halloween stickers (I used the spider and the faux stitching), add die cut to card with foam dots.

  • May Arts ribbon 1.5″ black solid wrinkled ribbon
  • DCWV Ghosts and Goblins patterned paper, Bewitched card stock
  • SRM Stickers, staples
  • PTI Fillable Frames die

Second Card:

Cut and score black card stock for a square card (use Spellbinders Nestabilities Label 1 die to determine how large you need the card to be).  Once you’ve cut and scored card place die cut on top of card with the edge off the folded side of the card stock.  Cut an additional piece of black card stock to add as a top layer.

Trim a piece of orange May Arts 1.5″ solid wrinkled orange (EA28) to fit around your die cut black card stock.  Trim a piece of May Arts 2″ Black Webbed Weave (WQ10) to extend over card stock.  Adhere orange ribbon with Score tape and adhere webbed weaved with scotch tape on the back of the die cut.

Ink all edges with white ink and adhere panel to die cut card.

Die cut vellum banner with PTI double sided banner and adhere SRM sticker.  Fold edge of banner over card stock and adhere with vellum tape.

Card 3:

Stamp Studio G bats and cloud onto white card stock and fussy cut.  Take the May Arts 1.5″ solid wrinkle ribbon and cut a 6″ strip.  Fold the ribbon piece over 5 or 6 times, fasten with small clothes pin while you thread a needle and thread and then stitch twice to gather ribbon.  Repeat three times.

Cut piece of black card stock to 6″ by 3″, add Tim Holtz distress stain white picket fence to top 2/3rds of card stock.  Cut a 7″ piece of May Arts 1.5″ Grosgrain Stripe (BK39) and adhere to front of card stock.  Die cut out purple card stock with PTI double sided banner and add SRM sticker to die cut (trim to size if sticker is slightly too large).  Add bats and cloud to the top of the ribbon with adhesive.  Add ribbon bunches to the card stock and adhere top layer on top with foam dots.

  • Supplies:
  • May Arts 1.5″ grosgrain stripe (BK39), 1.5″ black solid wrinkle (EA10)
  • Studio G Halloween stamp
  • SRM sticker
  • PTI double sided banner
  • Black, purple, white card stock
