Christmas Stocking Advent Calendar
Hi this is Jenifer here with you today to share this super cute and fun advent calendar with you today.
This is a great way to use up some of those ribbon scraps that you just cant seem to part with. This project is pretty easy but it just takes some time because you are making so many little stockings.
Step 1: collect the ribbons you want to use.
Step 2: cut out 24 stockings. I used felt scraps but you could use fleece or whatever you had laying around.
Step 3: this is the hard part. Layer all the ribbons you want to use on each stocking Sew the ribbon down. This is also when you would add your loop at the top for hanging.
Step 4: Embroider the numbers on each stocking, this didn’t take me very long, I watched a movie while doing it.
Step 5: With right sides together sew the stocking up. Turn right side out. Tip: I use a chopstick to help turn, it makes the little spaces lay down better.
Step 6: Repeat 23 more times then hang them all from a ribbon and enjoy.
Here is a close up of all the different stockings, I think I used about 30 different May Arts ribbons making these. I love them and would love to see yours if you decided to make them. Thank you so much for taking a look at my project today make sure you stop by again tomorrow for even more inspiration.
