Card – Hugs

To begin, I stamped my image from The Greetings Farm's Oliver & Amelia Buddies Set and colored her in with my Copic Markers. Then I used a Sizzix nesting die to cut out my image and the blue scalloped circle. Next I created my flower using a 2" Gluebur (like a giant glue dot) and the (379-15-01) 1 1/2" Satin/Pleats ribbon. To create my flower, I cut a 16" piece of this ribbon in half. I started my flower by adhering my ribbon along the outermost edge of the Glueber, then I simply spiraled my way into the center. Then I chose a pretty button for the center! I chose a sheet of patterned paper from a 6 x 6 stack from Echo Park Paper called Victoria Gardens. To put the finishing touch on my card I hand cut a little leaf and stamped "hugs" on it, so that you could really use it for any occasion!
