Bride’s Receipt Keeper/Notepad
Welcome back to the May Arts Blog! I’ve been working with a couple of brides to be recently; so weddings are on my mind.
I’ve created a little notebook for a prospective bride to keep track of purchases and receipts, but this little notepad can be easily adapted for any number of uses. I love how the May Arts Crochet Lace and Velvet cord add an extra touch of softness to this sweet image.
Cardstock – Papertrey Ink; K & Co. Black & Ivory Fusion
Stamps – Sparkle N Sprinkle Mary 1101-202L
Ink – Memento; Copic markers
Other – Sparkle N Sprinkle Bridal glitter, SNS Spreadable Glue; paintbrush; SU border punch
1. Print notepad cover template onto ivory cardstock. Cut out. Tape inside pocket down at the base only with Helmar Permanent Tape Runner.
2. Cut designer paper to fit front, back, and inside cover. Punch border from solid black cardstock. Use Helmar Tape runner to attach the border to the ivory template. Tape down the rest of the designer paper pieces. Attach notepad with the tape runner.
3. Stamp, cut and color and cut out the bride image. Paint brushable glue wherever glitter is desired. Sprinkle with glitter. Attach the image to the notebook cover with Helmar Zap Dots. Measure and cut the May Arts black velvet. Thread the ribbon between the Zap Dots and tie closed.
Thanks for joining us on the May Arts blog. Be sure to check back in often to see what the rest of the design team has created to inspire you.
