May Arts Ribbon Blog

Bold and Bright

Day 3 of May Arts / Bella Blvd Blog Week!

Bold and Bright

The brilliant colors in this Bella Blvd line of papers work perfectly with May Arts ribbons, there is only one problem, which ribbon to use?  Since I wanted a ribbon to frame my photo, I decided to use a wider width ribbon.  I love the texture of the linen ribbons so I thought 368-15-18 would be the perfect addition to my lay out of Emma picking strawberries.  The sweet little banner is from Bella Blvd's Alpha Bits stickers and I anchored it with May Arts Gorgeous brown twine SM33.  It was simple, I snipped off a 9 inch piece of twine, stuck the stickers down, used additional cuts of twine and tied bows at the end of each side and pressed it down to the lay out.
Have you tried a bold beautiful bow on your lay out?
