bestofbanner

It's that time of year again!  The 2012-13 May Arts Ribbonista term is nearing the end.  It has been such an amazing year here and there has been so many inspirational projects by this very fabulous team!   That is why I have truly been looking forward to this week.  I love taking a moment to look back, highlighting the best of the best and sending out a very heartfelt thank you to these wonderful ladies.  So, every day this week each Ribbonista will be sharing with you their favorite projects that they have created for the May Arts Ribbon Blog.

Now…of course there's a giveaway to go along with this very special week!   On Friday, I will select one person to win 3 rolls of May Arts Ribbonyour choice!  All you have to do to enter to win is post plenty of comments every day this week!

Today we have our Ribbon Royalty:

Candy Rosenberg:

Dress Form

One of my favorite dress forms was from CHA Summer 2012 and has a ton of May Arts to create the beauty of the overall look I was trying to create….Tea time in the summer.  May Arts ribbon puts the finishing touch on this project.
Spooky Album

May Arts ribbon is the star of this album show.  Love the colors, textures and even used twine to create a spider web on one of the pages.  Made this album for CHA to show off the Halloween line of Graphic 45 and the power of color and ribbon to create a showstopping Halloween album!

Burlap Wall Decor

I had so much fun making this project for a class, everyone was amazed at all the ways you can use ribbons including making pockets to put things in.  Think outside the box and off the page.

Charlene Driggs:
It's time once again to review our favorite May Arts Ribbon projects.  I've chosen 4 that are near and dear to my heart.

Latch Hook Ribbon Rug

The ribbon rug was a challenge to myself.  It was a labor of love and like all good things…so worth it!

Designer Plates For Less

Clementine Doll Bed
The Graphic 45 album, the ribbon plates and the doll bed were all created for the Design Team challenge.   Remembering the creative process, the nail biting anticipation and then the joy of being part of this amazing team has brought back so many memories.

Jen Shears

Ribbon Kissing Ball

Kissing Ball: This is a project that I worked on for a long time- but I love the outcome!

Santa Pillow

Santa Pillow: I love how fast & fun these are! Pretty sure they will be teacher gifts this year!

Homemade Vanilla

Homemade Vanilla: I thought these made pretty AND useful gifts!

Burlap Silverware Holder

Burlap Silverware Holder: Also a great gift- and so trendy!

I feel incredibly lucky to have been a ribbonista over the last few years! It was so fun to revisit projects from the last year- it also makes me see that ALL of my favorite projects feature May Arts Ribbon! 😀

Karen Baker

Ribbon Christmas Wreath
Ribbon Bow Wreath: Topping the list of my all time favorite projects of this last year is this wreath. Silk Ribbon is my all time favorite product from May Arts, and this wreath is full of it! I love the depth and life-like look of the silk ribbon tied in bows and scrunched together to form a wreath.

Acorn Fall Decor
Acorn: I love decorating for the holidays, but also for seasons. This simple acorn ornament showcases the product other than ribbon offered at May Arts: jute and paper cord. I love the simplicity of this acorn and how well it represents fall.

Layered Burlap and Lace Tag

Towel: I love how May Arts products can vamp up an ordinary object into something extraordinary and perfect for gift giving. This tag compliments the towel and gives the gift extra texture, color and pizazz.

Now start posting some love for these amazing ladies and please stop on by tomorrow for more highlights from this year!  🙂

All of the projects were amazing so it is really difficult to pick favorites.  I think though that the Santa pillow would make a darling gift.  My granddaughters would love for me to make the Teddy bear bed so I'm going to try it if I can find instructions.  The silverware holders are awesome.
