I had so much fun working with the Tattered Angels products that I couldn’t stop! I’ve used it on some more ribbon for a fun gift idea!
So let’s get to it- I started out using Key Lime Pie mist on the ivory sheer box pleat ribbon. This ribbon is delicious on its own, but it takes the spray mist beautifully! (I usually try to mist in a tissue filled box- I *might* have learned the hard way on that…)
While I waited for that to dry, I mod-podged some (My Mind’s Eye) patterned paper onto a composition book.
Once everything was dry, I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment on the front of the journal. Then I sanded the edges. (Unity sentiment)
I was having a great time making that journal, so I put another one together.
I mod-podged more patterned paper onto a composition book, sanding the edges once dry. I stamped a sentiment (unity) and used fabri-tac to adhere crochet ribbon onto the spine of the book. A little sweet pink & white gradient ribbon finished it off!
Simple, but thoughtful gifts! Thank you for your time- I hope you’ve been inspired!
