Altered Bottle: Charming Bud Vase
Hello, Rhea here and today I would like to share with you something a little different. A “Charming Bud Vase” made from an old bottle. Yes, there are buttons on the bottom. This bottle was really easy and fun to do.
First cover the bottom of the bottle with Liquitex Modeling Paste and set your buttons. To be safe let dry for 4-8 hours. Using a paint brush apply at random Inka Gold Metallic Rub. These rubs come in many different colors.
Second step is to cover bottle with 1.5” Ivory Net Ribbon. Secure it to the back of the bottle with Score-Tape. For this bottle I wrapped once on the bottom and then another above it to cover the body. I also brushed Metallic Rub to bring in the colors. I repeated the same process for the neck of the bottle.
Third step is to cut chain to fit the top, middle and bottom. Make little charms and tie lots of cute ribbon accents for color pop. Trim the ribbon into small strips.
