Make Your Own Embroidered Gift Bags

Hi this is Jenifer here with you today for a quick and easy gift bag that can be done in about 15 minutes.  I got these cute little canvas bags at Curtsey Boutique and they are the perfect size for a small gift.  I took out the string that tied the bag close and replaced it with the 1 ¼” silk ribbon for the closure.

At the bottom corner I put a little embroidered rose using the “woven rose” technique here is a link with a great tutorial on how to create these roses.  I also added a couple French knot clusters. Lastly I cut out some leaves from BY66 and tacked them down with a few stitches.  I think with just a few minutes and some beautiful silk ribbons you can create a very special gift.
