Greetings, Erin here with two fun cards to help celebrate winter. I love all occasions, but sometimes when it’s cold we all need a little help to spark our creativity. First up, I’ve got a fun tag card featuring the Lawn Fawn Winter Fox.
I started by die cutting out a tag and stamping the fox onto the tag. I colored it with watercolor pencils, added a bit of glossy accent to the mug and stamped the sentiment in the corner.
Next, I took the Hero Arts tweed background and stamped it onto Aqua Mist and embossed in white. I die cut a piece of vellum and ran a 4" piece of the satin pleat ribbon. Before adhering the ribbon to the card stock I used the PTI Edgers die to shape the side of the card stock.
Next up I took a selection of fabulous May Arts ribbon and added them to the tag. I cut a 4" piece of sheer tinsel, solid metallic and then tying it together with a 3" piece of silk.
Next up I’ve got a classic b&w square card. I love a bit of embossing, simple design and some great textured ribbon.
I started with a sheet of vellum and a 5 ½" strip of velvet, I tore the vellum to be a bit wider then the ribbon and wrapped it around an embossed square piece of card stock. Next up, I die cut out a smaller Lil Inker Stitched Mat square and stamped the tree and sentiment onto the card. I combined two small pieces of silk and taped them to the back of the square die cut. I raised the top panel with foam dots and cut a piece of white card stock 5 x 5 for the card.

Great winter cards–love the fox.
Love the addition of the white ribbon on the tag. It makes the tag feel much like a blanket. The second card is perfectly elegant.
