Make Your Own Santa Pillow

33

I’ve got a fast, fun & frugal project for you today- that would make a great gift! Don’t we all love that combo?

First, you’ll need to gather your supplies. I bought the sheets of felt that are 3 or 4 for $1 at the craft store. I also found these great buckles at the craft store! Next you’ll need your ‘belt’ material! I used ¾” velvet corduroy in black. Don’t forget your poly-fill!

You can see that I ran the ribbon through the buckle, and then placed it where I wanted it to be on the felt. Next I topped that with another piece of felt (note, I didn’t even trim these- I used them in sheet form!), pinned them together, then machine sewed, leaving enough room to turn the pillow the right way.

It was simple to turn it inside out (I used a bone folder to push the corners out), fill it with my poly-fill & hand stitch it shut.

I love it when a plan comes together! The velvet/corduroy ribbon adds such a great texture!

Thanks so much for your time! I hope you’ve been inspired!
