Ribbon Bat Treat Boxes

It’s hard to believe it’s almost halloween! Is your pumpkin carved yet? Have you stocked up on chocolate for the trick-or-treaters? I am so not ready! But with these little boxes I feel at least one step closer!

The treatboxes can be any type…for mine I used a die to create the box itself, but there are plenty of free templates you can Google!

I also have some trivia for you: a “group” of bats is called either a colony – or a camp! Who makes up the names for gaggles of things, anyway! Ha! I made a bunch of these boxes with bats on them…

And for my friends who might not appreciate bats,  I broke out some of my favorite chevron ribbons and skipped the googlies…

I hope you go out and make a few ribbon bats yourself!

Sandy  not a card and you still pulled it off.  What a nice treat for someone to keep after candy is gone.

This is a very cute idea Sandy.  They would easily adapt for many occasions…how about a kiss inside for Valentines, or an egg all decorated for Easter.  Kids would love a great little surprise inside.
