Patriotic Wreath

I thought it would be cool to make a red, white & blue wreath! It would be perfect for displaying on the 4th of July, or anytime you want to show your patriotic pride!

For your supplies, you'll need a wreath form, ribbon & pins. The Imaginisce ribbon cutting tool is fabulous to use too! I've used about 5 yards of red, 4 yards of white, 3 yards of blue 1.5" double faced satin. I also cut stars from cereal box chipboard with my cricut & pained them white with acrylic paint.

I used the pins for rough guidance on how wide I wanted my stripes to be, and then started wrapping!

I was careful to be sure the straw was covered & then used another pin to secure the end. The Imaginisce cutter made a lovely finished edge with zero extra work!

I continued this process until I'd made it all the way around.

I used a small piece of 3/8" grosgrain pinned in as my hanger.

I added the stars with straight pins as well & hung up my wreath!

I love how this wreath turned out!

Thank you for your time today! I hope you’ve been inspired!
