I’ve got a great way to make a personalized gift today! Here it is:
First you’ll need to gather your supplies: A hoop in the desired size, cute fabric, adhesive, ribbon, and a letter.
I cut a letter with my Cricut on copy paper & traced it onto muslin that I’d backed with iron-on-fusing.
I cut the letter out & set it aside.
Next I put the cute fabric in the hoop.
I cut the excess at approximately 1” intervals so that I could fold it in without creating bulk. I used ribbon adhesive on the inside of the frame.
I added the pretty sheer box pleat to the outside of the hoop with fabri-tac.
Hoop complete!
I hand-stitched the monogram in place & added a Baker’s Twine bow!
(Here’s a tip- I’ve made another one since, and machine stitched the monogram before I attached it to the hoop & that worked great!)
Now you’re ready to hang your hoop or package up for a gift! I think this will be my baby go-to gift!
I also made one for my cousin’s wedding!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you’ve been inspired!
