One trade that I definitely inherit from my mother is the habit to leave love notes randomly. They’re usually just a small card with quick messages. It can be for encouragement or just to brighten our day when we have a bad day.
I continue this habit and I love having mini card handy to be hand out at random moment. And, I love how ribbons can add texture and fancy up a simple card. Here’s my card:
My card size is 3” x 4.25”. After you make the card, cover the front panel with patterned paper. Then to make the sunburst center, stamp the circle sentiment and punch it out. Cut 8 pieces of ribbon about 2” each and snip the end into fish tail.
Adhere some glue on the back of punched out circle and arrange the ribbons behind it and when that’s done, adhere the sunburst circle to card. And that’s it! You’re done.

I love little random cards too. I used to put them in my kids lunches etc when they were little. Now that they are grown, I don't do that, but maybe I should start doing it again. Love your little card and thanks for the inspiration!
