Bazzill Basic paper and May Arts ribbon are the perfect compliment to make any holiday décor merry and bright! I’ll show you a quick way to alter an artists’ canvas into a shining, elegant and fun wall hanging or mantle centerpiece, and then I have four coordinating cards for display as well!

You’ll need:
8×8 canvas
Bazzill Patterned Paper and Textured Cardstock
~2.5’ May Arts 3/8” Black Grosgrain Ribbon (SX10)
Black Acrylic Paint
Mod Podge or similar sealant (I used glossy)
Rhinestone
Sticker or Stamp Sentiment
Double Sided Adhesive
The steps are quite easy.

- Coat the canvas liberally with sealant, lay a trimmed piece of patterned paper on top and seal over. Allow to dry. Paint the sides of the canvas as well as the leaves black.
- Use a diecut or create your own reindeer head out of the textured cardstock, paint the edges and glue with sealant to the canvas. Arrange the leaves into antlers and also glue with sealant onto the canvas. Adhere your sticker sentiment. Coat the entire canvas with more sealant.

- Affix ribbon trim to the front of the canvas with double sided adhesive. Miter the edges of the ribbon for a finished look.

4 Affix rhinestone for reindeer nose.
I was also able to create four holiday cards with the remainder of the Bazzill patterned paper and textured paper! I used May Art’s 3/8” black grosgrain ribbon again, along with the Black Burlap String (SM08) in all cards for embellishments. A sticker sentiment completes the look!
