Hi everyone! DeeDee here today sharing a fun "candy dish" style project. I've built the opening to a "fun house" using Echo Park's Chillingsworth manor, Kraft paper and May Arts Ribbon! I thought it would be really fun to have all the little trick or treaters reach through a scary opening to get their candy. So I built a frame from kraft paper and got to decorating it.
I covered bits in moss, built rosettes out of paper, created a fun sideshow style sign and utilized some of the fun stickers included in the EP collection pack. The sign is tied off with vintage buttons and May Arts Burlap String in black (SM08). The sign was made with alphas from the collection pack and a die cut from a sheet of paper. The skeleton and Candy This way sign are from the sticker sheet, and the Owl and 31 are from Viva Las VegaStamps!. One of the best parts was creating these adorable little pumpkins, and I've made a video how to on making them!
I really think these pumpkins could be super cute on a large scale and set somewhere in the home as a decorative piece! Let me know if you end up making any, I'd love to see them and am sure there are hundreds of May Arts ribbons that would make the perfect embellishments for them!
