Kids Crafts – Snowman Ornaments

Day 3 of May Arts / Lawn Fawn Blog Week!

Welcome to May Arts/Lawn Fawn Blog Week!   I’ve had a great time playing with the clean lined images from Lawn Fawn’s “Making Frosty Friends” Clear Stamp set.   I thought it might be fun to create some simple little gifts that children could share with their friends that are quick and easy as well as thrifty.   It’s also a great opportunity to teach little ones that creating and giving presents is as much fun as receiving them.

These  little ornaments take only a few minutes to make.   Even little ones can help by pouring in the “snow”.

You can download or print the tutorial here

I also created a simple card with the larger snowman in the set.  He’s all bundled up in his May Arts silk scarf.  Mr. Snowman has great taste!  Little ones will have fun sprinkling on the glitter while older children can do the stamping and cutting.

Supplies:

Cardstock – The Paper Source; DCWV Winter Wonder Stack

Stamps – Lawn Fawn Making Frosty Friends

May Arts ¼ inch red silk ribbon

Other – Papertrey Ink die;  Sparkle N Sprinkle Twinkling Clouds flocking, dimensional glue (earmuffs); Copic marker; Helmar Zap Dots foam dimensionals; Martha Stewart Coarse glitter, Glue Pen

Thanks for joining us!  Be sure to check back often this week for more crafty Design Team ideas, and then head over to the Lawn Fawn Blog see what their Design Team has created for you!
