Inspiration Jar

Day #4 of May Arts / Graphic 45 Blog Week!

Inspiration Jar

If you are a regular reader here on the May Arts blog you know I love vintage..and ribbon ;)   So when you combine Graphic 45 and May Arts, well you know there is a good time to be had!

I had fun creating these little envelope tags. I broke out several punches and bits of ribbon (SM14, RG76, 372-15-32) to decorate them.

I think these would look cute as the tag to a gift, or even a gift certificate holder. But then I got to thinking…what if I tucked in a little bit of inspiration in each one.

I liked that even better! But how to contain my cute bits of inspiration envelopes? And then I remembered this old empty jar.

I filled it with the Graphic 45 envelopes, old white and cream buttons.

and then finished the front of the jar with May Arts ribbon in RG10 and SM09.

So now I have bits of inspiration to pull out when I need a little shot of encouragement in my day, not to mention an interesting vintage styled décor piece!

Thanks for joining me today and if you have any questions I would be happy to ask!

LOVE your tags and the whole inspiration jar is a great idea. I like the thought of being able to read inspiring quotes AND enjoying tags that you’ve made rather than always giving them away. :)

These tags are gifts in and of themselves. Love the idea of an inspiration jar and what a lovely gift to ME that would make. I rarely keep my artwork, which is silly since it’s something I enjoy creating so much.
