    Nicely done, Latrice! I’m not fond of the stapled ribbon but the one using the basting stitch is familiar to anyone who sews. Did you also use the basting size stitch in the ruffle as you go? BTW, the proper pronunciation of grosgrain is growgrain. The ” gros ” is French for large and refers to the large ” stripes” in the texture.

    I did use the basting stitch in the ruffle as I go. Thanks for the pronunciation of grosgrain also. Thanks for checking out my video.

    I like that Latice showed you can use a stapler to make the pleats since I don’t own a sewing machine.

    Thanks for the tutorial! I tried the pleated ribbon once, but I didn’t keep the stitch straight…that would help, I guess! ;) Love the gathered ribbon look too. TFS!
