Jen here and I’ve got a fun idea to share with you!
First you’ll need your supplies- I’ve got some Bazzill patterned paper, May Arts 3/8” double-sided satin, my scor-pal, and my gift item- cocoa! (Note the Starbuck cocoa too- I AM near Seattle!)

I cut my patterned paper to 4”, and then scored it at 4” increments.

I cut the paper down to just have enough room for a strip of adhesive.

I folded at the score marks, tucking the flap with adhesive inside. I punched a hole through both panels at the same time.

I threaded the satin through both holes (approx. 18” satin)

Fold the cocoa packet down slightly & tuck it into your ‘envelope’, pushing the ribbon down as you go.

Here’s the bottom- the ribbon holds the cocoa packet in place!

Tie a bow & you’re done!

You can stop here if you want to mass produce, or embellish further to make it even more special!
I’ve added some velvet ric rac & a Bazzill holiday style sticker.

I also switched out the ribbon to match & added a Bazzill jewel!

I was having so much fun with the Bazzill goodies; I had to make a card (or two)! The first uses a 6×6 patterned paper & a holiday style sticker, as well as the ‘half the edge’ cardstock strip!

I wrapped some pink metallic string around the ornament sticker, and another piece through the cardstock strip. I popped the ornament sticker up for some extra dimension!

And this card uses the back side of that same 6×6 patterned paper! Both patterns are so fun! For this card I used another sticker, and placed it on the 5/8’ scallop edge satin.

I slipped some velvet ric rac under the top & bottom of the paper panel, machine stitching in place!

Thank you so much to Bazzill! The products are wonderful quality & so fun to work with! And thank you for your time! I hope you’ve been inspired!

I really like how the ribbon holds the cocoa in place. Great idea!
What an adorable and reasonably inexpensive gift idea. Perfect for classmates? I really like the cards too, I have a think for Kraft, so they spoke to me, loud and clear. I tend to design my cards as an A6 or A7 , but the Noel card and its shape is something I have to try. Thanks for sharing.
