CHA Booth Tour

Did you get to visit our booth at CHA? If not – never fear, you’re about to go on a whirlwind tour of it!

Watch the video with your mouse over the “pause” button….if you see something you want a better look at, leave a comment – and I’ll try to identify it and get some so I can show you how it looks on a card.

I want to say a special big THANK YOU to May Arts for hosting a Make-and-Give for Operation Write Home at the booth during the show. This is not only a fantastic company – but generous and bighearted to our nation’s heroes too! It was a blast hanging out with the team at the show, meeting other ribbonistas, making cards that’ll be sent to the troops – and of course drooling over the ribbon!

If seeing my posts here on the May Arts blog aren’t enough ribbon for you, you’re welcome to follow my personal blog. As my friends will tell you, I can hardly make a thing without ribbon on it – and I blog a card a day. So you’ll see lots more types of ribbon there as well!

See you next time!

Sandy

Oh my gosh, I'd be like a kid in a candy store with all that delicious ribbon around me! Great video, and I saw several ribbons that really caught my eye.

    1:24 – black & white chevrons

    1:30 – houndstooth

    2:45 – orange & black

    3:25 – red & black

Thanks for enabling us all :)

    Hi Sandy,

I really liked the music while we looked  at all the amazing ribbon. There were 2 I'd like to see you use !. 3:11 into it was wide red & white striped ribbon, because I've bought some over a year ago and have never used it. @. aprox. 2:06 Burlap. It was very wide but It seems somehow it would be nice in a masculine card. Do they have any burlap that is not as wide? How do you use the wide ribbons?

    Thanks, Donna in Tucson

Oh my goodness! So many to choose from. Sandy, I would love to see what you can do with the crochet lace (any of them–they were all so pretty.) Thank you for the tour!

What fun to have all that beautiful ribbon at your finger tips!  I have seen a lot of flower ribbon like 1:22 in stores and would like to see it used.  Also the lace at 4:05 (right after the eyelets) as it is a kind we do not see you use very often.

WOW… that was fast and a lot to take in, but at 1:10 i really like the brown, but the red or green is sweet too. . . can't wait to see all the great things you come up with.
