Card – Christmas Cheer

Hi all! Today I have a couple quick projects to share with you. Many of us know Bazzill brand name for their fabulous cardstocks, but they also offer some cool patterned paper.

I made a card and a tag. First up, is this quick and easy card.  After all, for Christmas card, quick and easy really helps when you need to make a ton of cards, right?

For this card, I use Bazzill Holiday Style: Holiday Stripe/Pinstripe Poinsettia , May Arts silk ribbon(SK26), and the sentiment stamp from Papertrey Ink Stylish Sentiments: Holidayset. The silk ribbon is my favorite ribbon, because they’re so fun and easy to work with. Especially for double loop bow, like I did on this card.

I simply cut apart the patterned paper and arrange them on the card with white space in between. Adhere the Christmas tree strip with pop-dots to make it stand out. Spaced out the green and blue strip just enough to place the ribbon in between.

Then stamp the sentiment on a piece of white cardstock, layer with pink cardstock, and adhere to card on top of the ribbon.

Next, I made a tag using the same Bazzill patterned paper and Some Odd Girl Bright Lights Kaylee.  For the ribbon, I used May Arts metallic elastic ribbon.

The tag measurement is 2-1/2 x 3-3/4. Simply layer the patterned paper on a cardstock, stamp sentiment, and adhere the ribbon behind the tag. Print out the digi stamp, color, fussy cut it, and adhere to tag.

I hope you like the card and the tag. And, I’d like to take this time to thank you for stopping by here at May Arts blog. Your support for May Arts means so much for all of us at May Arts and I wish you all a very merry Christmas filled with love and joy. And may the coming year be a prosperous one for you and your family.
