Please welcome back our Guest Blogger, Legojenta / Marie, with another post. This time, she's making bows!
Bows & Knots
Today I wanted to show you some different ways to tie your May Arts ribbons. I used a variety of ribbons to show you some of the selection May Arts has in their store for this post. All of the ribbons used are listed in the supplies. Here’s a picture of all of the different bows & knots I’m going to show you today:

First of all, I tied a normal bow, from this great brown, wrinkled ribbon

I then tied another normal bow, using a two-sided blue ribbon

I also tied two knots using a two-sided pink and green ribbon, making the different sides show in different ways

I then tied a double-bow, using some sheer denim-colored ribbon

I also wanted to show two different ways to embellish a bow. Firstly, I added a paper flower with a button center to the middle knot of a pink bow

On a smaller bow, made with a purple silk ribbon, I added just the button

It’s not just the type of bow or knot you can make in different ways. Here’s three different ways of cutting the ends of the ribbon, shown on regular knots

Lastly, I wanted to show you another fun, easy way of dressing up your ribbon. You can thread the ribbon through a piece of paper, to make a place for a sentiment or something else

That’s it for my blog post today. I hope you feel inspired to try out some different bows and knots on your next project!

Thanks for showing us all the different ways to tie ribbons!
Really outstanding ! I am so bow-challenged it isn’t funny ! TFS !!
Hmmm,…I must be missing something here. I can see samples of beautifully tied bows on most papercrafting sites/blogs. I was hoping for a video or picture tutorial of HOW TO tie these beautiful bows with May Arts ribbons.
So many great hints and tips. What I want to know is how you get your bows to look so perfect in the first place! Lovely work
