Gift Idea: Bookmark Gift Set

Today I am going to share a really fun set of bookmarks that make a wonderful gift for your favorite reader!

Supplies:

Cut three pieces of the white cardstock to 6 ½ x 2 inches.

Cut the kraft cardstock at 6 5/8 x 2 1/8 inches.

Stamp each book mark with a different set of stamps.  For the background stamp, first stamp in one color and then again, slightly off, with the other color.  For the flower, do one in Shabby Shutters and one in Peeled Paint and for the clocks, the same.  Leave about ½ inch border at the top and bottom of each bookmark.

Fold ribbon to create the bow and add to the bottom of each bookmark.  This adds a really pretty embellishment without making them too bulky to use in books!

Mount the bookmarks onto the kraft background.

Punch three circles from kraft and adhere to the top of each bookmark.  Punch hole in the circle for ribbon.

Loop one length of ribbon and two lengths of burlap string through each hole.

To package  the bookmarks, cut a length of kraft cardstock and stamp the Pom Pom flower in the center.  Wrap around the set of bookmarks and secure with adhesive.   Wrap with burlap string and tie.  And now you are done!  Your bookmarks are ready to give to a wonderful friend!

Love these, the colours are great, just wish I could do tie the ribbon on the bottom like that, mine always look wonky when I do it.  Great gift.
