Best of The Prima Ribbonistas Blog Week – Day 4

Welcome to Day 4 of The Best of the Prima Ribbonistas Week!    If you are just joining us, we are highlighting the work of the May Arts Prima Ribbonistas over the past year.  This is a great chance to review some of the best projects we've had from this team and maybe even find a few you missed the first time around.  So, let's be sure to show these ladies some love as the 2011-2012 design team winds down to an end.

If you missed any of the days this week, be sure to check them out too!

We have another 3 very fabulous ladies to celebrate today, so let's get started!

I've included 3 projects that were some of my faves for May Arts! It's been such a great year, I had lots of projects I loved!

The Graphic 45 ornament was a fun way to stretch what a ribbon can do (fraying the metallic ribbon).

The Stampendous card I like because it shows what a cool detail embroidery with ribbon can have on a project.

The button pillow was such a cute way to add a little love to a room! And who doesn't love May Arts burlap string?!
I would love to hear what projects by the design team were the favorites by the readers!

Working with May Arts ribbon is such a pleasure because all the ribbons are so luxurious and beautiful! I enjoyed every single tutorial I've created for May Arts, but if I have to choose my top 3 it would be these:

A canvas tote with a painterly cardboard bird, burlap ribbon ruffles, blingy charms, and a penholder! This is one of my all time favorite projects that I created for May Arts because it's brimming over with all my favorite things! And it's the perfect place to stash a journal and make art or write on the go!

More burlap & bling! Layered flowers with sparkly centers are my favorite handmade embellishments. I love journals and books, and a pretty wrap like this makes them even more special. I've always dreamed of seeing my work in print, and this project was just featured in the 2nd edition of PAGES magazine! So it's definitely one of my top favorites!

As you can see, I love pairing the rustic beauty of burlap with a bit of sparkle! I think these adorable peat pots glammed up with ribbon and glitter would be perfect for a bridal or shower or wedding!
