Welcome to Day 3 of The Best of the Prima Ribbonistas Week! If you are just joining us, we are highlighting the work of the May Arts Prima Ribbonistas over the past year. This is a great chance to review some of the best projects we've had from this team and maybe even find a few you missed the first time around. So, let's be sure to show these ladies some love as the 2011-2012 design team winds down to an end.
If you missed any of the days this week, be sure to check them out too!
We have another 3 very fabulous ladies to celebrate today, so let's get started!
It was so hard picking out just a couple of my favorites because with May Arts ribbons it is so hard to make something not wonderful. Thank you so much for having me on the team this year it has truly been a dream come true.
my main goals when creating projects for may arts is to transform the ribbon into something other than what it was originally meant for. i want people to see a beautiful project first and then be surprised when they find out it was created with ribbon. i think each of these projects is out of the box and creates something beautiful for the home, whether it be
a simple cupcake garnish
or a treasured holiday decoration.
The Birdhouse: I loved this project because I love to alter things to make the "my own" and to be able to use ribbon to do that is always a plus.
The cupcake card: This is one of my favorite cards because of the zig zag ribbon. It's always fun to have unique ribbons to work with and this one rocks!
The Snowman card: Christmas is my favorite time of year and Snowmen are at the top of the list of "loves" The little pom pom ribbon I used a piece of on his hat just was a perfect way to set off his hat. I seem to always want to stick buttons there, so it was a real plus to be able to accent it with ribbon.
Now…of course there's a giveaway to go along with this very special week! On Friday, I will select one person to win 3 rolls of May Arts Ribbon – your choice! All you have to do to enter to win is post plenty of comments every day this week!
xoxo!
