Best of The Prima Ribbonistas Blog Week – Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of The Best of the Prima Ribbonistas Week!    If you are just joining us, we are highlighting the work of the May Arts Prima Ribbonistas over the past year.  This is a great chance to review some of the best projects we've had from this team and maybe even find a few you missed the first time around.  So, let's be sure to show these ladies some love as the 2011-2012 design team winds down to an end.

If you missed Day 1 – Click Here!

We have another 3 very fabulous ladies to celebrate today, so let's get started!

What a wonderful year it has been to design for May Arts! I feel so blessed to have been able to expound on my creativity in ways I never thought possible. One of my goals was to showcase ribbon in new and unique ways, as well as create some home decor items.

I really enjoyed transforming the cute pom pom ribbon into some Lawn Fawn Cotton Candy

Smashing cut-out ribbon painted with glimmer mist to form a unique design

And incorporating many different styles and types of ribbons and trims into an all winter season display

New Job Card. I loooove the Raffia from May Arts. I thought that it would be fun to incorporate it in a card because I normally use raffia for gift wrapping.

I think I love the color palette of this layout the most. And the picture of Max, my working buddy! The fact that you can mask with May Arts Ribbon just adds to it's versatility and the reason I love it so much.

I LOVE the new May Arts Twine…that's is why I love this layout so much. The colors are awesome and so is the texture. Plus this photo of my mom and Owen just makes me smile.

I love doing these best of posts where I get to tell you a little bit why I love a few of my projects that I’ve made for May Arts. First off May Arts is amazing to work with and you couldn’t ask for a better Ribbonista leader than Bethney. It’s been a fun and fabulous two years on the team.  Here are two projects I’ve chosen to share with you today.

I have to re-share my Lawn Fawn cards. The images that Lawn Fawn creates are so fun to color in and this chevron ribbon is to die for!!! I love doing this banner cut and mixing lots of colors.

Next is my Be Merry vintage frame from our week a while ago with Graphic 45. This project turned out better than I had imagined in my head and on paper. I love this G45 paper so much and the mix of the vintage frame and all the ribbon is so fun to me. I honestly can’t wait to hang this up again.

Now…of course there's a giveaway to go along with this very special week!   On Friday, I will select one person to win 3 rolls of May Arts Ribbonyour choice!  All you have to do to enter to win is post plenty of comments every day this week!

Now let's get plenty of Prima Ribbonista love posted!  :-)

xoxo!

-The Ribbon Lady
