Baby Love Memory Album

Day 4 of May Arts / Creative Imaginations Blog Week!

Baby Love Memory Album

Every mom needs a place to put photos of her newborn baby, it's a fact.  But, not every mom has the time or energy to whip up a little mini album to record their newborn's first days.  That's where we come in!  This album is for baby Shane, he was welcomed into this world a few days ago and I look forward to giving this to his mom and helping her fill it.  May Arts ribbon and this whimsical Zoo line created by Helen Dardik for Creative Imaginations is perfect for baby girls, baby boys and mystery babies!  I used my favorite May Arts jute twines (SM33, SM28) to add a little texture and I tried something new, I used the luxurious silk ribbon and stitched right on a page.
The size of this album is 5''x7'', I wanted my friend to able to use standard 4''x6'' photos with very little trimming when she puts her pictures in.  I left space for journaling and one of the pages is actually an envelope, where she can put small mementos.
I loved combining May Arts ribbon with Creative Imaginations, the two are practically perfect for each other!  Thanks for joining us here today!

I love this album. The idea of using the strings is very clever. I have to learn this and use it in my future projects. Tyfs. Love the different way you put your pages and tags together.
