Native New Yorker Alexcia Patterson was educated in Mexico, Australia, France, England and Switzerland where she earned a BA in international business from Franklin College in Lugano. Her multi-cultural background was put to good use assisting an art dealer based in Munich, Geneva and New York.
In 2003, Alexcia co-founded with German celebrities, a popular lifestyle boutique, Amber Lounge in Munich for trendsetting female consumers. In 2009, Ms. Patterson opened Make & Mingle in Westport CT, a unique design studio where children-to-adults create exciting fabric-based projects, learn crafts and enjoy themed parties of every kind.
