Valentines Day is fast approaching and if you’re a cardmaker, like myself, you sometimes just want to create something quickly that does not take a bunch of steps. When searching through all the yummy ribbon choices on the May Arts website I found these fabulous heart shaped satin cut outs. They are a continuous line and they are all connected for easy use. They make for the perfect quick card. Here is what I created.

And here are the step and some tips I took to create this card.
Step 1 - Create your card base from Kraft cardstock.
Step 2 – Cut your piece of patterned paper ¼” smaller than the card base, round the corners and adhere using 3D dots to raise it.
*tip* By using a Kraft patterned piece of paper here you give the illusion that you’ve stamped the background. Also raising it with 3D dots gives it more interest.
Step 3 – Get out your heart satin cut outs. To fit an A2 size card you’ll only need 4 hearts of each color. Using mini Glue Dots attach your hearts in rows.
Step 4 – Leaving a space in the third row place the word LOVE in letter stickers. I used LOVE since it was a four letter word and could be lined up easily.
DONE! It’s that easy.
Materials:
- Cardstock: Kraft (The Paper Company)
- Patterned Paper: Jillibean soup
- Ribbon: Satin cut outs (May Arts) AX09, AX14, and AX17
- Adhesive: Glue Arts, EK Success, Glue Dots
- Tools: Corner rounder (We R Memory keepers)
- Letter stickers: Making Memories
