Today I’m sharing a pretty little card that I had published in a recent issue of CARDs magazine. It was published in the “ribbon” category – imagine that! *giggles*
I love ribbon – mostly wider ribbons for projects and gift bags, but I do not let the width deter me from using them on cards.
On this particular card I’ve got this gorgeous fuschia twill ribbon from May Arts tied off in to a knot right in the center of the card. I just love the color and the texture that a big ribbon adds to a card, and with trendy seamstress images like dressforms and whatnot, fabric ribbons are the perfect complement!
Thanks for stopping by today! More of me can be found on my blog.

Beautiful card! That fuschia twill is gorgeous against the grey and yellow. Such an inspiring color palette. I agree totally that fabric ribbon, especially twill, go so well with the trendy sewing themes that are so HAWT right now! You rocked it and congratulations on the pub!

Sweet! Congrats on being published! I love the colors together. So pretty!
Congrats on having it published. It is just lovely. I would never have thought to put such a wide ribbon on a card, but it sure works! TFS!
